Pre-Listing Inspections
Although the pre-listing inspection isn’t as common as a pre-purchase inspection, it’s an ideal service for the home seller that wants to be prepared for the home selling process. Our pre-listing inspection essentially includes the same scope of inspection that a pre-purchase inspection includes, but the intention is to arm the seller with the information and inspection findings that will likely come up when the buyer's inspector performs their job.
Why is this important? Our goal is to help all of our clients avoid surprises. By pre-identifying issues that may come up during the buyers inspection, you will be more prepared to address those issues and negotiate around them.
Some advantages of a pre-listing inspection include:
Helping to speed up the transaction process by pre-addressing found issues
Providing the buyer with more confidence knowing that you went above and beyond in doing your due diligence prior to listing your home.
Having the information and confidence to list your home at a more accurate price
Saving money on repair costs by having more time to address repairs.
